4 Days Marrakech to Fez Desert Tour Option 1:

Day 1: Marrakech – High Atlas Mountains – Telouet – Tamdakht 

Departure from Marrakech in the morning, crossing High Atlas mountains via the Tizi n’Tichka (2260m), stop at multiple beautiful panoramas for pictures. Once you reach the summit, begin your descent towards the Kasbah of Telouet, a palatial former residence of the powerful rulers of the Glaoui tribe. The Kasbah is also well-known from the many movies filmed there. Continue on to the Ksar of Ait Ben Haddou. Travel along the Ounila Valley, seeing old salt mines and beautiful rivers lined with many Berber villages.

Day 2: Ait Ben Haddou – Ouarzazate – Skoura – Roses Valley – Dades Valley 

Departure will be after breakfast to visit Taourirt Kasbah. Then we drive through the road of one thousand Kasbahs. Along the way, we visit the magnificent Kasbah Amridil in the palm grove of Skoura. Afterward, departure to the Valley of the Roses, and the Gorges of Dades via Boumalne. Dinner and night at a hotel in Dades Gorges.

Day 3: Dades Gorge – Todra Gorge – Amellagou (Spring & Summer ) – Erfoud – Merzouga 

After a good night’s rest, you will have breakfast at the hotel, and enjoy a cup of tea or coffee in the terrace to get some fresh air of the beautiful valley, before hitting the road again and heading to the second gorges on our route: Todra gorges, you will have free walking time to fully explore and enjoy these magnificent edgy mountains and the vibrant green valley of Todra.

After Todra, we continue our way south passing through many small villages with a stop of lunch at one of the restaurants your driver suggests before heading to the dunes of Merzouga with a couple of foto stops, arriving at the edge of the dune, the camels will be waiting for us, you will ride with the caravan into the dunes while the luggage will be transported to the camp in an SUV. Once in the middle of the dunes, you can take your time to witness the mesmerizing sunset of the Sahara, take photos, shared laughter and recharge your soul.

After the sunset, the camel caravan will continue to the camp, where you will be welcomed to mint tea, then shown to your rooms so you can rest, freshen up sort your luggage while dinner is being prepared. After a delicious meal ( vegetarian food can be accommodated ), the fire will be let and musical plays with the staff will so you can enjoy a warm desert atmosphere full of love and authenticity, during clear days, one can see the milky way and count the stars and constellations in the night sky.

Tents are equipped with comfortable beds and warm blankets so you can rest in luxury after a wonderful day full of unforgettable moments.

Day 4: Merzouga – Errachidia – Midelt – Cedar Forest – Ifran – Fez 

Wake early and climb the sand dunes to watch the beautiful sunrise. Pack up the camels and trek back to the dune line, where you will shower and breakfast at the hotel. Drive to Fez passing through Ziz Valley in Errachidia, Midelt.

Stop for lunch in Midelt before we continue to Azrou to see barbary macaque and cedar forest. Afterward, we will continue to Fez via Ifrane. 4 Days Marrakech to Fez Desert Tour Option 2:

Day 1: Marrakech – Ait Benhaddou – Ouarzazate – Skoura – Dades gorge 

Departure from Marrakech in the morning, crossing High Atlas mountains via the Tizi n’Tichka (2260m), to reach to Ait Benhaddou village, the fortified ksar with its beautiful Kasbahs. Ait Benhaddou has served as a natural scenery for many movie producers. After lunch, we will head to Dades via Ouarzazate, palm grove of Skoura and Valley of Roses, where we will spend the first night. end of the first day of your 4 days from marrakech to desert and fez.

Day 2: Dades – Todra gorge – Risani – Merzouga 

departure will be after breakfast to visit Dades gorges, taking the road of 1000 kasbahs to drive around the colorful Berber villages of the Dades valley. to get to Tineghir with its beautiful palm grove. We will continue to the Gorge of Todgha, where we go on a trek along the canyons of about 300 m high, a preferred place of mountain climbers.

Afterward, we will head to Erg Chebbi dunes in Merzouga Sahara desert and you will have time for lunch on our way. Overnight in the Hotel in a peaceful setting at the foothills of Erg Chebbi Sahara dunes.

Day 3: Merzouga sightseeing tour and Camel ride

Today we will explore the desert region and the marvel that is the Erg Chebbi desert dunes. We will make a circuit of the desert dunes where you will have the opportunity to see the nomad’s way of life and the amazing changing contrasts of the desert. We will visit the village of Khamlia to see Gnawa musicians.

We will have a traditional Berber pizza for lunch in the ancient capital of Rissani. In the afternoon we will ride the camels to see the sunset over the dunes and spend the night in the desert camp. We will have a traditional tagine dinner, drink delicious mint tea, listen to traditional Berber music while watching the stars and the rising moon in the amazing Sahara desert.

Day 4: Merzouga – Errachida – Midelt – Azrou – Ifrane – Fez
