Detailed Itinerary of the 4-Days Fez Desert Tour
Day 1: Fez -Merzouga Sahara Desert
At 8:00 a.m., we will pick you up from your riad/hotel in Fes. Then we'll travel to Midelt through the Middle Atlas Mountains and Cedar Forest, passing through Ifrane, a charming ski resort, and Azrou, a significant handicraft center specializing in cedar woodwork.
We'll eat at Midelt for lunch. We'll drive to Erfoud after lunch and then into the Erg Chebbi desert. We'll travel to Erfoud after lunch and then into the Erg Chebbi desert, which is made up of large sand dunes. We'll eat dinner in the hotel after arriving in Merzouga late at night.
Day 2: Merzouga Exploration
On the second day of your 4-Days Fez Desert Tour, We'll go exploring the Erg Chebbi dunes after breakfast. On our way, we'll stop in at KHAMLIA, a Moroccan village populated entirely by black people. The people of the village are known for their Gnawa music performances. We'll then travel to Merzouga's Oasis, which retains an ancient irrigation system, and then to Rissani, where we'll explore ancient Ksours and Kasbahs. We'll return to the hotel at about 4:00 p.m. after a traditional local lunch. We'll go on a camel trek to Erg Chebbi's golden dunes once we get there. You'll spend the night in a bivouac (camp) and have a Berber dinner before retiring to a nomad tent for a quiet night.
Day 3: Merzouga – Dades Valley
on the 3d day of your 4-Days Fez Desert Tour, We'll have breakfast in the Sahara Desert after the sunrise and then ride camels back to the hotel for a shower. Before continuing between palm groves, we will encounter the treatment of fossilized stones and marbles in Erfoud. We'll have lunch and then go for a short walk through the Todra Gorges before spending the night in a hotel.
Day 4:Dades Valley to Marrakech(or Fez)
on the 4th day of your 4-Days Fez Desert Tour and Before leaving for Marrakech on day 4, we will take a short walk through the gorges. The Dades Valley will then be followed through El Kelaa Magona, the Valley of the Roses, and the Thousand Kasbahs Path. Following our lunch in Ait Benhaddou village, we will travel through the high Atlas Mountains through Tichka pass for the remainder of our journey. In the evening, we will arrive in Marrakech.
