Detailed Itinerary of 3 Days Private Marrakech Desert Tour

 

Day 1: Marrakech – Telouet – Ouarzazate -Dades valley 

– We will pick you up from your hotel/riad in Marrakech to begin your 3 Days Private Marrakech Desert Tour, and drive you to Ouarzazate through the dramatic Tizi ‘n' Tichka pass, Africa's highest major mountain pass (2260m), through the High Atlas Mountains, taking in the scenery via Berber villages.

When you arrive at the well-known Ait ben Haddou kasbah,the largest one in Morocco and UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1987 where;e will have lunch here before continuing on to Dades Gorge through Ouarzazate, “the Hollywood of Africa,” and along the (Road of the Thousand Kasbahs), passing through Kalaat Mgouna, “the rose's city,” known for the production of rose water roses and its annual festival (May), before arriving at Dades Valley. Overnight stay in a hotel or a riad.

 


Day 2: Dades valley – Todra Gorge – Merzouga

We'll leave the Dades valley for Tinghir and the Todra valley after a morning breakfast to see the impressive rock formations and take a break in one of the pleasant spots of the gorge. Leaving the Dades valley for Tinghir and the Todra valley, we'll see panoramic views of the old mud Berber villages with their palm groves overlooking the valley.When you arrive at the Todgha Gorge, you'll walk under a high red cliff that rises to 300 meters at its narrowest point.

Continuing on to Erfoud and Rissani for lunch, we'll depart for Merzouga in the Sahara Desert, where you'll be greeted with a hot cup of mint tea before being prepared for your camel trekking. Day 3: Merzouga – Alnif – Ouarzazte – Marrakech
