Day 1: Marrakech – Ouarzazate – Zagora
2 day trip from Marrakech to Zagora, In the morning after breakfast, begin your adventure to discover the south of Morocco on board of an SUV. You cross the Berber villages towards the High Atlas by the pass Tizi n’Tichka, which is one of the great and higher passes of Morocco with more than 2260m of altitude. This road will take pass the kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou with it fortified houses.
In the afternoon, we will continue our excursion to Ouarzazate with stops to take pictures of the kasbah of Taourirt. Your journey continues towards the south of Morocco towards Zagora via the anti atlas to reach the Berber village of Agdez and the valley of Draà where its palm trees open for about 185 km.
On your arrival to Zagora, you will go on camelback to watch the beautiful sunset in the small dunes where you will end the day with a magnificent night in the bivouac under a beautiful sky full of stars.
Day 2: Zagora – Marrakech
This day begins at dawn to enjoy a memorable sunrise event, behind the mountains and small dunes of the Zagora desert. Then, a traditional breakfast is served. You will return to Zagora on a camel’s back to continue your second day of the trip. Once you cross the Draà Valley you will cross the track to Agdez. Cross the anti-atlas towards Ouarzazate to join the road that leads back to the valley of Ounila and the kasbah of the Glaouie. In the afternoon return to Marrakech where our trip will end.end of your 2 Days Marrakech Excursions.

Day 1 :MARRAKECH – KASBAH AIT BEN HADOU – OUARZAZATE
Your private 2 days excursion tour of Kasbah Ait Ben Hadou and Ouarzazate will start early in the morning ( 09h00 AM ) with a pick up from your hotel /riad.
Drive east of Marrakech crossing the windy high Atlas Mountains and Tizi Ntichka pass. Numerous stops will be made along the way to enjoy the views, take photos, stretch your legs or drink a cup of coffee.
Visit Ait Benhaddou village (where Star Wars were filmed). UNESCO as one of the world’s cultural treasures has classified the fortified village of Ait Benhaddou. It is studded with crenelated towers and its buildings decorated with geometrical motifs and is considered to be one of the most beautiful villages of this kind in Morocco. A program of restoration work is currently underway to encourage the population of the village, which is at present inhabited by just five families.
From here, continue to Ouarzazate, which marks the beginning of the Sahara desert. Visit Taourirt Kasbah. This former Glaoui residence, situated on the edge of the town, on the road to the Morocco Sahara desert, is considered to be one of the most beautiful kasbahs of Morocco. It consists of a maze of luxury apartments, simple clay houses, and crenelated towers, which are lavishly decorated with geometric motifs. Part of the fortified village is open to the public.
DAY 2: OUARZAZATE -ATLAS MOUNTAINS -MARRAKECH

Day 1: Marrakech - Tizi n'Tichka Pass - Ouarzazate - Fint Oasis
We start our Marrakech to Ouarzazate 2 days trip at 08 am, crossing the high atlas mountains "Tizi n´Tishka" Pass 2260 m traversing unique landscapes with magnificent colors. After the pass, we take the turn for the Kasbah of Telouet. We visit this surprising castle then we continue down the Ounila valley our way to Ait Ben Haddou. Classified as a UNESCO heritage, this caravan halt village offers beautiful sights. Our next highlight is the ancient Kasbah Tifoultout 8 km outside from the city. This fortress belonged to the family of Thami El Glaoui, Pasha of Marrakech from 1912 to 1956. We continue our trip to the Oasis Fint, where you will spend the night in a traditional Kasbah.
Day 2: Fint Oasis - Ait Ben Haddou - Telouet - High Atlas - Marrakech
After breakfast, we go on a guided visit to Fint Oasis and enjoy mint tea at a local family's home. You have time to explore the quiet and peaceful oasis at the river together with a guide and learn about the local life of the friendly inhabitants. We go explore Ouarzazat, the former French military garrison town that is now a growing city. Strategically positioned at the foot of both high and anti atlas with beautiful outskirts, it attracted moviemakers from all over the world. Mount Toubkal 2 days trek itinerary:
Day 1: Marrakech –Tahnouet- Asni- Imlil 1740m-Refuge Toubkal 3207m
(Marrakech to Imlil 65km 1h30mn drive) Departure from Marrakech early morning 8am, towards the high Atlas Mountains via Tahaouet, Asni then between terraced fields of vegetables, fruit trees walnuts & cherries arrival to imlil 1740m meet the team guide, muleteer then start the trek from Imlil through Armed 1900m then into the shrine of Sidi Chamharouch 2500m lunch next to the river, then continue to climb steadily to the Toubkal refuge 3206m through snaking and zigzagging along mule tracks.
Overnight at the refuge. Approx. 5h30 walking
Day 2: Refuge 3207m – Summit Toubkal – Refuge Toubkal- Imlil 1740m
An early start passing by the river into the south cirque above the refuge and climb through an avalanche of rooks, it’s a challenging walk rather than a climb, then straightforward between giant rooks, where the altitude will make our steps very difficult in few parts before reaching the plateau from where you can enjoy the first lights on surrounding peaks above 4000m, a short walk to the summit with a panoramic view on each side of the mountain before finding ourselves on the top of the highest mountain in North Africa after 3 hours walking.
a beautiful view in every direction, North Marrakech, South Anti Atlas & Sahara, the time spent in the top will depend on the weather, 30 minutes will be enough before descending same way to refuge it takes 2hours lunch/rest then 3 hours walking down to Imlil.
NOTE This trek can be extended to 2 nights at the refuge with an option to climb nearby peaks such as Ouankrime 4068m, Tizi Melloul / Taghraghart Plateau 4000m or a night in Imlil or Armed instead of going back to Marrakech, also its possible to spend a couple of days training before the ascent if you have any trouble with altitude, or simply you would like to discover the surrounding valleys and crossing high passes before the ascent.end of your 2 Days Marrakech Excursions.
